Cork Choral Festival, 29 April to 3rd May 2026

We went to Cork this year to participate in the Cork Choral festival. The last time we were in Cork was 9 years previously in 2015!
On Saturday evening, we performed City of Stars from the musical Lala Land and Going up a Yonder in the Atrium at the Clayton hotel.
On Sunday, the choir took part in two competitions The Mixed Voice choir competition, in which we sang, Monteverdi's Cantate Domino and The Ground (Ola Gjeilo). In the afternoon, we sang in the Light Jazz & Popular music competition, performing Send in the Clowns (Sondheim) and Wade in the Water (Mark Hayes). 
It was a fantastic social weekend for the choir and there was a great buzz around Cork, with so many choirs from all over the world performing over the weekend. We will be back, Cork!
