2023 Summer Concert - For the Beauty of our Earth
The Nás na Rí Singers are delighted to announce details of our summer concert ‘For the Beauty of Our Earth’, taking place on May 27th 2023. This past December, we welcomed family, friends, and members of the community as we celebrated 50-years of joyful singing. We are so very grateful to everyone who helped in making this concert a success and one that we will never forget. That said, while 50-years of making music together was certainly something to celebrate, that didn’t mean the work stopped and we want our summer concert to be just as special. For those unfamiliar with The Nás na Rí Singers, we are a mixed-voice choir of nearly 70 members, based in Naas, Co. Kildare. Members are drawn not just from Naas, but from all over Kildare, Wicklow and Dublin. Among our members are singers who have been proudly singing with us from the very first day and singers who have been with us for just a few months. In preparation for our summer concert, we turned to nature for inspiration and have spent the last several months preparing pieces that embrace the beauty of nature and aim to transport the listener. |
